BO·NAN·ZA
noun
1.) a situation or event that creates a sudden increase in wealth, good fortune, or profits, or
2.) a large amount of something desirable
Our Kid's Bike Bonanzas bring the the joy, empowerment, and health that bicycles provide to hundreds of Chittenden County youth who would not otherwise have access to a bike. The bicycles that we give away are donated to Old Spokes Home by community members and businesses and refurbished by year-round volunteers.
2021 Bike Bonanza
There will be TWO Bike Bonanzas in December of 2021! One for Burlington and one for Winooski. Kids ages 3 through 8 who qualify for free or reduced school lunch and don't currently have a bicycle are elligble!
The Burlington Bike Bonanza is set for Sunday, December 12th 1pm-4pm at Old Spokes Home. Sign up for the Burlington Bonanza here!
The Winooski Bonanza will be on Saturday, December 18th 11am-1pm at the O'Brien Community Center. Sign up for the Winooski Bonanza here!
You can help spread Bonanza love by donating a bike, volunteering, or making a $25 gift.
Giving $25 covers the cost of recycling and refurbishing a kids bike, essentially buying a kid their first bike! If you give a gift of at least $25, we'll send you a thank-you card on behalf of the kids.
Even better - dedicate your $25 gift to a friend or family member, and we'll make the thank-you card out in their name. They make great stocking stuffers!

The Bonanza is held in loving memory of Henry Beaird, a boy who loved bikes and was a young customer of Old Spokes Home.
