The Everybody Bikes Program creates access to affordable, sustainable, active transportation -- for everybody.
Everybody Bikes lowers barriers to transportation by making bikes and bike repair affordable for income-eligible Vermonters. Since 2005, the Everybody Bikes program has provided over 5,000 bikes and 10,000 repairs to income-eligible Vermonters. Qualifying customers can purchase bikes, service, and accessories at a subsidized cost: 50% off bikes under $400 (and $200 off bikes OVER $400), 50% off repairs, and 35% off accessories.
Eligible customers receive any of the following:
- SSDI
- 3Squares/EBT
- Medicaid
- WIC
- Reach Up
- Section 8
- Fuel Assistance
- Unemployment Benefits, or
AND/OR are referred from one of our many community partners including:
- Howard Center
- J.U.M.P
- VocRehab
- Parallel Justice
- VRRP
- Howard Center
- Mercy Connections
- AALV
- Boys & Girls Club
- King Street Center
- Burlington School District
- COTS
- Spectrum Youth and Family Services
- Mentor Vermont
- Working Fields
