Bikes for All!
Old Spokes Home is a 501(c)3 community-supported nonprofit bike shop in the Old North End of Burlington, transforming lives by creating access to bikes for all.

  • Through Everybody Bikes we provide access to affordable transportation and recreation to hundreds of income-eligible Vermonters.
  • The work of OSH staff and volunteers saves hundreds of donated bikes from the landfill each year, giving them second (or third, or fourth) lives.
  • Through Youth Shop we gave away over 200 bikes to kids each year, along with freedom, empowerment, and repair skills.
  • Through classes and workshops, we make bike transportation and maintenance accessible to more people, no matter where they start from.

Donate a bike

Bike donations are essential to our Everybody Bikes program, Kids Bike Bonanzas, and Youth Shop. The refurbished bikes that are sold through our shop are available to

Everybody Bikes customers at significA happy kid on a bikeant discounts. Revenue from  our retail shop and eBay store support Old Spokes Home's mission, educational and social justice programming.

All donations to Old Spokes Home are tax-deductible. If you would like a donation receipt, please ask for one when donating.
We accept bikes that are in rideable or very nearly rideable condition and/or good quality bikes and parts. With your bike, we suggest $5-10 donation to help us get the bike ready to roll.

We do not accept ebike donations. Many ebike batteries can be disposed of through The Battery Network, or through Chittenden Solid Waste District.

Donations can be dropped off during business hours.
If you are donating 5 or more bicycles, please call us ahead of time. (802) 863-4475.

Fall Fundo Logo

The Fall Fundo is Old Spokes Home's annual fundraising ride.
Funds raised support our bike access programs for youth in the community, and Everybody Bikes, our flagship program providing significantly discounted bike sales and repairs for income-qualifying customers.

The Fall Fundo is a ride, not a race! It's an opportunity for riders of all experience levels to ride with friends and make new ones. Inclusion and accessibility are central to the Fundo, and we welcome riders using adaptive equipment and families riding with kids. We offer four supported routes: 15, 45, 70, & 100 km. After the ride, enjoy live music, local food & drinks, friends, and stories from the ride. Pedal together to support bikes for all! The 2026 Fall Fundo will be on Saturday, September 26th.

All are welcome at our weekly drop-in volunteer nights on Tuesday from 5-7 pm. City Market members can volunteer at Old Spokes Home to earn member worker credit!
