Burlington Bicycle Project, which operates Old Spokes Home and Bike Recycle Vermont in Burlington’s Old North End, is looking for an Executive Director.
Although we are a relatively new organization, our programs and bike shop have been in continuous operation since 2005. We are searching for an Executive Director to work with our dedicated staff and volunteers and to help our organization achieve its mission. This is an exciting opportunity for a socially minded entrepreneurial leader.
The ideal candidate will have:

several years of leadership experience with staff supervision responsibilities;

experience managing retail and/or service and/or educational programs in an enterprise with a strong social mission or a not-for-profit organization;

passion for bikes and familiarity with the bicycle industry.
